Walkabout Tremont showcases the best of Tremont’s creative, diverse and walkable neighborhood. The community comes to life with street performers, restaurant/bar specials, pop-up shops, and extended shop/gallery hours. Each month has a distinct theme to give visitors a taste of the historic, arts-centric neighborhood.
The 90-minute self-guided tour highlights many of the churches and other institutions built by (and for) successive waves of immigrants from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century.
