Get involved in the arts in Tremont. Become a Walkabout Volunteer!
As a Walkabout Tremont volunteer, you have the opportunity to work with your neighbors and fellow Tremont enthusiasts in sharing your talents to help make this fun monthly event – which draws visitors from all over – a success.
Walkabout Tremont is a volunteer-coordinated event. There are a number of volunteer opportunities that involve about an hour or two of your time each month, including:
- Walkabout Committee – help plan and promote each monthly event
- Ambassadors – hand out flyers and maps to visitors the evening of Walkabout, while promoting all there is to do in Tremont
- Streetscape setup/tear down
- Source performers – help find and book entertainment
- Marketing/social media – create social media posts, help create monthly press releases and email campaigns
- Social media influencer – promote Walkabout on your own social media pages (this is an informal role)
