The Tremont West Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday, May 16th, celebrated the accomplishments in Tremont over the past year. Membership heard from Ward 14 Councilwoman, Jasmin Santana and Ward 3 Councilman Kerry McCormack. Ward 12 Councilman Tony Brancatelli was also in attendance. The theme of the evening was SAVE TREMONT MONTESSORI! The membership was asked to sign petitions, write letters and emails and attend public meetings to let CMSD know we want our school to stay in Tremont! Assistant Director, Michelle Davis, shared the new community website: experiencetremont.com and Chad Biggers encouraged all to participate in Tremont Speaks, a new program promoting neighborhood safety through participatory budgeting.

Gail Long Lifetime Achievement Award- Merrick House
Community Partner of the Year Award- Cleveland Public Library
Sammy Catania Spotlight Award- Matt Berges
Business of the Year Award- AFFOgato Cat Café
Annual Holiday Food Drive Winner- MetroNorth Block Club

Tremont West Board Committee members reported to the membership their work over the past year and encouraged members to join the committees. Block club and constituent groups were then given time to make any announcements about their accomplishments or upcoming events. On behalf of the staff of Tremont West, we would like to thank outgoing board member, Gusty Molnar, for his year of service on the Tremont West Board of Directors.

Quorum was reached before the meeting was called to order at 7:02pm, so the membership was able to conduct business and vote on new board members.
