CLEVELAND, Ohio (February 3, 2022) – A new wedding and private events venue is opening this Summer in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood. Formerly the Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church and Byzantine Catholic Cultural Center, The Elliot is being renovated to celebrate its historic architecture while providing modern features and amenities.

The Elliot can accommodate events ranging in size from small community gatherings and art shows to corporate events and weddings. The Ballroom will feature a grand staircase leading up to a balcony that highlights the iconic rose window and sits opposite the room’s stunning chandelier. Designed for cocktail hours, micro weddings, and open mic nights, the Rosehip Room will be equipped with a built-in stage and wet bar featuring the building’s original stained glass.

Owners Stephanie and Tim Ridgely have put together a team that will ensure the venue’s success as a premier destination in Cleveland. Dimit Architects brings valuable experience in historic preservation and has created many Cleveland staples including the Cleveland Arcade on Euclid Avenue and Mitchell’s Ice Cream in Ohio City.

The Elliot is now taking bookings for this Summer.
