What’s your favorite thing about your organization?

Our mission! Every day we help animals who have been rescued from abuse and neglect, create new families for homeless animals, and provide preventive, lifesaving services that help to reduce the number of animals needing to come into shelters and keep pets with the families they love. We couldn’t do any of this without the incredible support of our community.

If you could improve something about Cleveland what would it be?

We wish there was more awareness about the Cleveland APL and the other shelters and rescues in our community when families want to add a pet to their family … and we’re doing everything we can to raise that awareness. We also need to raise awareness about the value of pets as members of the family who should live indoors not be left to roam the streets or live on a chain.

What does community mean to you?

Community is a shared pride in where we live and a collective desire to work together toward making our community a better and safer place for people, animals, and the environment alike.

What’s Tremont’s best kept secret?

The Cleveland APL … of course!!!
