Walkabout Tremont brings art openings, food and drink specials, live music and more to Tremont this Friday, October 14, from 5 to 10 p.m. Visitors can also enjoy locally produced art in many shops, restaurants and bars, and take a tour of one of Tremont’s iconic churches.

818 Studios is celebrating its 4th anniversary with 19 local veteran and new artists on display starting at 5 p.m. Meet some of the artists and enjoy the musical stylings of LIBRARIAN. A few of the artists on display include Anthony Van Rooy, David Louis Cintron, John Saile and Eric Kunde.

All of Me – Leigh Brooklyn – artist meet & greet from 6-9 p.m.
All of Me showcases a comprehensive overview of artist Leigh Brooklyn’s multidisciplinary practice. Tracing the development of her figurative style, the exhibition reveals how Brooklyn’s work has evolved to meet the necessities of the current cultural climate. Offering a glance into the artist’s early inner thoughts with works never displayed. She lives in Cleveland and her work has been displayed in galleries and museums all over the country. Brooklyn has won a variety of awards for her art since 2004. She recently was a semi-finalist for Figurtivas at the MEAM in Barcelona, Spain, and was a top artist and winner in the Boynes International Emerging Artist Awards in Melbourne, Australia.

The Occult – multiple artists
This exhibition examines the topic of the occult, which at the core means, ‘the hidden’ or ‘the unrevealed.’ This could be applied to a number of things mystical magical, mysterious and beyond our scientific understanding of the universe. The Occult is a group show with more than 20 artists addressing this topic through one to two pieces. The opening will include belly dance performances, tarot readings and live music. The exhibition is curated by Shawn C. Mishak.
