Our Neighborhood Votes/ Nuestro Vecindario Vota, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment and National Voter Registration Day, invites you to a celebration of
the women who have fought for their and others’ right to vote.
On Tuesday, September 22, 2020, from 4:00—7:00 pm, in conjunction with the Tremont Farmers Market, a socially-distanced/masks required display in Lincoln Park in Tremont will remember and celebrate the women who fought for their and others’ right to vote for over 170 years.
The 8 stations will provide information and inspiration as well as connecting past struggles with those of the present.
